Our strength and conditioning performance program institutes four training principles:
sport specific training (functional training)
multiple plane movements
Sport specific training challenges athletes to perform specific movement patterns safely and efficiently, develops appropriate energy system use, and promotes muscular adaptations that lead to increased athletic performance.
Resistive and body weight exercises enhance the ability to generate force. They include; Squatting (single & double), Olympic movements (clean, snatch & jerk), plyometrics and sport specific speed & agility.
Our program is comprehensive in nature. All training principles are progressive steps depending on training age, chronological age, and any physical deficiencies that need to be isolated to ensure efficiency of movement. The process starts with body weight only, progressing to light, medium and heavy resistive protocols as training progresses.
